Dior at Harrods

Today, the story of the house of Dior and the United Kingdom is still being written, somewhere on Brompton Road...

Oggi inizia "Dior at Harrods" la collaborazione lunga un mese, da Sabato 16 Marzo a Domenica 14 Aprile, per celebrare il rapporto sesantennale tra i due prestigiosi brand. Per l'occasione Dior ed Harrods hanno unito le forze per dar vita ad un'avventura all'interno del lusso più sfrenato ed allestito le vetrine di Brompton Road con quella che é la visione Dior di Londra: un'incantevole ricostruzione del London Eye, del Big Ben, delle rosse cambine del telefono e delle cassette della posta... E gli orsetti di Harrods, ovviamente!

Salendo quindi al quarto piano potrete trovare la ricostruzione della storica (e fiabesca!) facciata del quartier generale di Dior al numero 30 di Avenue Montaigne, la nuova collezione make-up ispirata all'amore di Christian dior per l'Inghilterra e che include la nuova tinta di Dior Vernis regalmente chiamata "Windsor", una collezione di esclusivi (e carissimi!) prodotti ed una mostra fotografica dei fan più famosi della maison francese. C'è anche la possibilità di farsi fare un ritratto d'artista, di personalizzare la propria boccetta di profumo e di avere trattamenti facciali, manicure e molto altro ancora! 

E dopo aver preso parte a tutte queste favolose iniziative cosa ne direste di una visita al Georgian Restaurant per provare un menu che evoca l'amore di Monsieur Dior per il diciottesimo secolo e per il cibo sontuoso?! Potrete provare i bellissimi cupcake e i sandwich all'aragosta!

Today starts "Dior at Harrods" a month-long collaboration, from Saturday 16th March to Sunday 14th April, to celebrate their 60years relationship. For the occasion Dior join forces with Harrods to launch a luxury adventure and prepare the windows of Brompton Road with the Dior versions of famous London landmarks: a charming reconstruction with the London Eye, the Big Ben, telephone and post boxes... And Harrods' bears, of course!

Going up to the fourth floor you will find the historical (and fairy!) Dior headquarters facade at 30 Avenue Montaigne, the new make-up collection inspired by Christian Dior's love of england that includes the new shade of Dior Vernis nail polish regally named "Windsor", a collection of exclusive (and expensive!) products and an exhibition featuring photographs of Dior’s famous fans. There's also the possibility to have a portrait sketched by an artist, to personalise your perfume bottle and to get facials, manicures and more! 

And after taking part at all of these fabolous initiatives what do you think about a visit at the Georgian Restaurant to sample a menu that evokes Monsieur Dior's love for 18th Century and for sumptuous food?! You could try the amazing cupcakes and lobster club sandwiches!
